Q. How can I be sure of the color I want my ‘Word Art’ and or Art Accent to be?

Q. Will ‘Word Art’ and Art Accents apply to any surface?
A. Word Art and Art Accents adhere best to any flat or lightly textured surface. We have tested our products on many surfaces. It works great on glass, smooth wood, smooth metal, windows, mirrors and so on. Brick, and rough stucco didn’t adhere well. The best advice we can give is to apply a test sample to the surface in which you would like to apply your Word Art or Art Accent. You can get this sample by contacting a Consultant near you or emailing us at sales@articulatewalls.com and we will mail one out to you.
Q. Is Word Art removable?
A. Absolutely! That is why ‘Word Art’ is perfect for renters, homeowners and businesses. When you are ready for a change, simply peel up the edge of each letter and/or art accent with a fingernail or tweezers and peel off. If your ‘Word Art’ has been up for a couple of years it may have hardened a little. Lightly heat up the letters and/or art accents with a hair dyer then they peel off easily. If a slight sticky residue remains, remove with rubbing alcohol. Should the wall you applied your ‘Word Art’ to have been a dark color, the wall may have faded resulting in a slight “ghosting” effect once your ‘Word Art’ is removed.
Q. How soon can I apply my ‘Word Art’ after painting?
A. We recommend waiting until your paint has cured. This of course differs from one manufacturer to the next. A simple way to test and see if it’s ready is to stick a piece of masking tape to your wall where it is not visible. If you remove the tape and no paint is lifted…you are ready to apply your Word Art.
